Funny Story, Christmas Day some renegade Domain Pirate steals my domain just one month after I let it lapse. My fault! Oops! But thanks to my Adam, he’s got it working again. They had a faulty email addy, the people who claimed owned my site had a bogus ID and behold the domain was available the NEXT day. Amazing, truly!

Not alot has been going on astronomy wise. For Christmas I got a nice little pair of binoculars. 10x50’s just enough to enjoy the heavens quickly in this Michigan wintry weather. I am working on a manual altaz dial system for my dob. I have the 22” 360 degree circle printed and laminated, read to be trimmed and applied. I next and looking to purchase a digital inclometer. I’ve found some wonderful plans online to help me along the way.

I also added about 10 inches height to my dobsonian scope as well. That helps alot, lemme tell ya. I still have to kick my husbands butt however when it comes to heating my optics...I have all these resistors layin around. I’m going to start making jewelry soon! Santa did bring him a helping hands with the little alligator clips and magnifying glass, PERFECT for soldering! wink wink.....

Hope everyones holiday has been good! I look forward to attending some Seven Ponds events here in the future. I excited to take some chili to the Chili Night in February. See some old friends, look at the skies pending the weather, and being in the element again. I hate trees. And cold. Did I mention I hate trees and cold? I do.
